Barkley: We screwed up college basketball. Now players will go to schools with the highest bid.

Live Bar News on August 1st Barkley recently talked about the current college basketball in the United States when he was interviewed by CBS News.

“College basketball is a shame and ridicule now. I am very angry now. How can we ruin such wonderful things.” Barkley said, “in the next three to five years, we will have 25 schools leading the sport because they can provide high salaries for the players. And those schools that cannot afford or are unwilling to provide high salaries will become irrelevant.”
